Amputees and evolv
Just got a really solid update from evolv athlete Ronnie Dickson and he has been tearing it up lately!
Not many people know this but evolv is the only rock shoe company in the world that has developed a rock climbing shoe, the Eldo Z, that is built around a foot (made by T.R.S.) specifically for amputees.

A couple other athletes on the evolv team that use the Eldo Z are Craig Demartino and Chad Jukes. Craig, along with Ronnie, is getting ready for Nationals in VA and they are going to be talking to USA climbing about getting a “disabled” division started. How cool is that?!

I also had a chance to talk with Chad at the trade show and he’s got some very cold peak bagging up at the Mooses Tooth potentially coming up. I’m gonna be honest, I’d NEVER in a million years even flirt with the idea of putting myself in any alpine setting (unless it 100% involved only bouldering in like alpine meadows) and I have 2 working legs. Strong Chad!!
