Thanksgiving recap
So the annual “Buck cooks for everyone that shows up at Tom’s house in Bishop” was on again for the 3rd year in a row! It was an absolute blast this year. The past 2 years have been hit or miss with who has been able to show up whether it was cuz of sickness or travel problems or what have you. But this year we had about 16 at dinner and then the Vegas crew rolled in for a late picking over the left overs. There was some great climbing to be had all weekend by evolv athletes from all across the country and the world. Pat “Trick” Olson had a great trip from Vegas with Checkerboard v8, Yayoi right v7, Change of Heart v6 and Flyboy v6. Bill Ramsey , also from Vegas, made quick work of Freeze all Cylinders short v9, and Checkerboard v8. Sam Davis from Flagstaff had a great couple weeks in Bishop with sends of A Maze of Death v12, Haroun and the Sea of Stories v11, The Mystery v11, Xavier’s Roof v11, Sidewinder v10 and Cindy Swank v9!!
The Trick is to seperate the skin and season directly on the meat then cook it upside down so the juices flow to the breast and stuff it with a LOT of citrus fruits.
